The 5 mL tube is the ideal intermediate volume that can be used alternative to 15 mL

conical tubes when using volumes less than 5 mL.

Its smaller size means you no longer need to insert your pipettor barrel inside the tube.

Manufactured in polypropylene, this tube will withstand autoclaving

The 5mL tube can be spun in the same centrifuges that accommodates a

15mL tube. It is also suitable for freezing to -90°C.

A frosted marking area on the tube cap is provided for sample tagging and identification.

Easy-to-open cap allows for single-hand operation without the risk of hand fatigue

while still maintaining sample integrity.
